Amarcord is a production company for film and tv-productions run by producer, director and screenwriter Thomas Robsahm.
Robsahm has produced more than fifty films including Loveable, Dancing Queen, The Worst Person in the World, Thelma and Louder Than Bombs by Joachim Trier, Hope by Maria Sødahl, a-ha The Movie by Thomas Robsahm and The Angel by Margreth Olin.
The films have been in competition at festivals in Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Tribeca and Sundance. Louder Than Bombs won the Nordic Council Film Award in 2015 and Hope was nominated to two European Film Awards and was on the Oscar shortlist in 2021. Both Louder Than Bombs and The Worst Person in the World where selected for the main competition in Cannes (2015 and 2021). The Worst Person in the World was nominated for two Oscars. Lovable has won more than 30 awards including five awards at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and four Amandas, including for best film.
Amarcord has produced Dancing Queen (2023) and Dancing Queen in Hollywood (2025) and co-produced a number of film including Loveable, The Worst Person in the World, Armand, Sick of Myself and many more.
Amarcord runs the program Filmskapere/Filmmakers with support from Tom Wilhelmsen Foundation and Talent Norge.

REGIONAL PRODUCTION
Amarcord aims to produce films and tv-series in the Norwegian region Innlandet. We see a lot of potential in the region and want to share stories that are located outside the capital of Oslo. The first production will be the family film Dancing Queen, which premiered at Berlinale in 2023, the follow-up Dancing Queen in Hollywood and My First Love (2026).
